Advertiser Spotlight

METRO TOYOTA

Jim Greenfield, Salesman, Metro Toyota.

duced in 1987.

Metro Toyota has been family owned and operated for over 40 yrs. Jim Greenfield has been employed there 23 years but has been around the business since he was six years old. The dealership was opened by his father Richard and business partner Jerry Schneider. Jim's brother Barry is new car sales manager and there are four Schneiders working there.

Metro's success is based on treating everyone with respect and dignity. They don't pressure the customer; they do, however, keep it relaxed. They want their customers to tell their friends about what a good experience they had, and then the effort has paid off. They have sold families multiple cars over the years. Metro has won the coveted President's Award almost every year since it was intro-

A couple years ago, Metro expanded their service department and created a large customer lounge with wi-fi, big screen TVs and a coffee bar with complimentary snacks. They want the customer to feel at home and not dread having to wait for their car to be serviced.

Jim's openness in the dealership has made people more comfortable with the LGBT community. He says that employees that have never really sat down and talked with anyone gay have learned acceptance. This has created a comfortable place for people to do business with and not be apprehensive about shopping as a couple.

Jim prides himself on his no-pressure approach and vast product knowledge. He listens to his customers to find the best car to fit their needs. He works with new and used cars for lease or purchase. He says he does well with customers because he doesn't have the car salesman personality that's expected and makes people feel at ease.
